Modarikhon

Today during our practicum at Modarixon Madrasa, we had a very interesting discussion with our teacher and coursemates. We didn’t only talk about lessons or students—we spoke about the history of the madrasa itself.

Our teacher asked us what we knew about Modarixon Madrasa. Some of us shared a few facts, and we all tried to remember what we had read or heard before. It was exciting to talk about such an old and meaningful place. We learned that this madrasa is one of the historical monuments of Bukhara and that it has served as a center of knowledge and education for many years. Even today, it continues to inspire young people and future teachers like us.

I think Modarixon Madrasa is not just a school building—it is a symbol of history, knowledge, and tradition. I love the peaceful atmosphere and the way the old walls seem to “speak” about the past. It is a place that connects history with the present. I feel proud and thankful to spend even a small part of my journey here. The beauty of the building, the quiet courtyard, and the feeling of respect for knowledge make it a wonderful place for learning and reflection.
